When you first get in touch, we’ll have a short call to discuss what’s been weighing on you and figure out if in-person or online sessions make the most sense. My Macleod Trail SW office is set up to feel calm and comfortable, with options for seating and lighting that help you settle in. Each session runs about 50 minutes and might begin with any new concerns or memories you’ve noticed lately. We could practice a coping strategy, explore a recurring thought, or use gentle mindfulness exercises, depending on your comfort level. Throughout it all, I’ll adjust my approach to match your pace—drawing on CBT, EMDR, or Accelerated Resolution Therapy only when you’re ready. My aim is to create a quiet, comfortable and supportive space where you can find genuine relief and a clearer sense of calm in your daily life.
